Join us for a trip to Old Town, Alexandria! Our day will start out with lunch at Gadsby’s Tavern, a traditional American eatery housed in a historical building that once hosted George Washington & John Adams. Following lunch, we will tour Carlyle House, an eighteenth-century historic house museum. John Carlyle, wealthy merchant and a founder of Alexandria, completed his elegant stone mansion in 1753. Today, Carlyle House is one of the nation’s finest examples of Georgian residential architecture.
